I’ve tried before and received feedback along the lines of, “can we remove the strange bearded guy in the background”.

It’s that time of year again isn’t it? Art shows everywhere. Well… around here anyway.
Boxbird‘s festival show this year is based on travel, and I’ve just managed to squeeze this one in before fatherhood takes hold of my life and ruins all my paintbrushes.
This is my first watercolour piece since I left college over 10 years ago. The black line is indian ink, but the background is complete watercolour wash, full of happy little accidents.

I’ve been asked to take part in “Life in 2050″, an exhibition curated by Transmission for the Sci-Fi-London Film Festival. Of course I said yes! I developed this sketch into an A2 size 4 colour silkscreen for the occasion, and here’s the result…

The show opens this Thursday, 22nd April and is running until 4th May. The private view will be held on the evening of the 22nd April.
